Account & Registration
Creating an account on LagnaVishesh is simple:
- Visit our registration page
- Fill in your basic details (name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender)
- Verify your email address and phone number
- Complete your profile with additional information
- Upload photos to make your profile more attractive
The entire process takes about 10-15 minutes, and our user-friendly interface guides you through each step.
Yes, you can create a profile on behalf of your family member with their consent. When registering, select the option "Creating profile for" and specify your relationship with the person. Please ensure you have the person's permission and accurate information before creating their profile.
Note that the person whose profile you create will need to verify their email and phone number to activate the account fully.
Profile verification is an important step to build trust in our community. To get your profile verified:
- Go to your profile settings
- Select the "Verification" tab
- Upload a government-issued ID (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Passport, etc.)
- Upload a recent photograph
- Submit for verification
Our team will review your documents within 24-48 hours. Once verified, your profile will display a verification badge, which increases trust and visibility.
If you wish to delete your account:
- Go to your account settings
- Select "Privacy & Security"
- Click on "Delete Account"
- Follow the confirmation steps
Please note that account deletion is permanent and all your data will be removed from our system within 30 days. If you have an active subscription, consider canceling it before deleting your account.
Matching & Communication
Our matching algorithm considers multiple factors to find compatible matches:
- Partner preferences you specify in your profile
- Compatibility factors based on lifestyle, values, and goals
- Community and cultural preferences including religion, caste, and mother tongue
- Education and career compatibility
- Location preferences and willingness to relocate
The algorithm learns from your interactions and improves its recommendations over time. Premium members receive priority in match results and benefit from advanced matching features.
To express interest in a profile:
- Visit the profile you're interested in
- Click the "Send Interest" button
- Optionally, add a personalized message
- Submit your interest
The person will receive a notification about your interest. If they accept, you can start communicating directly. Free members can send a limited number of interests per day, while premium members can send unlimited interests.
Yes, premium members can see who viewed their profile. This feature helps you identify interested users who may not have sent an interest yet.
To access this feature:
- Go to your dashboard
- Click on "Profile Visitors"
- View the list of members who have visited your profile
Free members can see the number of profile views but not the specific users who viewed their profile.
If you encounter inappropriate behavior or suspect a fake profile, you can block or report the user:
To block a user:
- Visit the user's profile
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner
- Select "Block User"
Blocked users cannot view your profile or contact you.
To report a user:
- Visit the user's profile
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner
- Select "Report User"
- Choose the reason for reporting
- Provide additional details if needed
Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes appropriate action.

You have control over who can view your profile through privacy settings:
- All Members: Your profile is visible to all registered users
- Members who match my preferences: Only users who match your criteria can see your profile
- Members I view: Only users whose profiles you've viewed can see your profile
- Premium Members Only: Only paid members can view your complete profile
Additionally, you can hide specific information like contact details, which are only revealed when you choose to share them. Premium members have access to advanced privacy controls.
You can control who can contact you through your communication settings:
- Go to your account settings
- Select "Privacy & Communication"
- Choose your preferred contact settings
Options include:
- Allow messages from all members
- Allow messages only from members who match your preferences
- Allow messages only from premium members
- Allow messages only from verified profiles
You can also block specific users from contacting you at any time.
We verify profiles through a multi-step process:
- Phone verification: All users must verify their phone number
- Email verification: All users must verify their email address
- ID verification: Users can upload government-issued ID for verification
- Photo verification: We match profile photos with ID photos
- Social media verification: Optional linking of social media accounts
Verified profiles display a verification badge, indicating that the user's identity has been confirmed. This helps create a safer environment and builds trust among our members.
Subscriptions & Payments
We offer three subscription plans to cater to different needs:
- Free Plan: Basic features including profile creation, limited search, and sending a limited number of interests
- Premium Plan (₹1,499 for 3 months): All free features plus unlimited interests, direct messaging, viewing contact details, and priority customer support
- Gold Plan (₹2,999 for 6 months): All premium features plus profile boost, featured placement in search results, background verification, and a dedicated relationship manager

We accept various payment methods for your convenience:

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a trusted payment gateway that ensures your financial information is protected with industry-standard encryption.
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to your account settings
- Select "Subscription & Billing"
- Click on "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the confirmation steps
When you cancel, your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free plan. We don't offer prorated refunds for unused subscription time.
You can cancel at any time to prevent automatic renewal for the next billing cycle.
Our refund policy is as follows:
- We offer a 7-day refund period from the date of purchase if you're not satisfied with our services
- Refund requests must be submitted through our contact form with the subject "Refund Request"
- Please include your account details and reason for requesting a refund
- Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method
- We do not provide refunds for partially used subscription periods
